Residency Information

Important Dates*

*The specific deadline on any stated due date shall be 11:59 PM Eastern Time.

Residency Program Applications (Standard and Alternate)— Submit 6 months before intended start date

Resident Registration Form — For Standard and approved Alternate residencies, submit within 90 days after the start date

Credentials Application due date — August 15th each year

   (Preliminary case report submission – April 1st each year)

Journal submission letter and submitted manuscript – October 15th each year

Examination fee ($375) – March 5, 2019 with letter of intent to sit for the exam, journal acceptance letter and accepted manuscript

Certifying Examination – June 3 and 4, 2019 – Phoenix, AZ (in conjunction with ACVIM Forum)

Standard and Alternate Resident Registration fee — $0
Credential Review fee — $250
Examination fee — $375
